Three years later she still remains angry and alienated to her parent’s particularly to her father Steve Miller (Greg Kinnear). Meanwhile Steve a former Juilliard School professor and concert pianist moved to Georgia after his divorce and spend his life in creating work of art, which become the centerpiece of the local church. On the other hand Ronnie’s mother Kim Miller (Kelly Preston) decided it would be in everyone’s best interest if Ronnie together with her bother Jonah Miller (Bobby Coleman) will spend the summer in his fathers place. But things got-upside-down upon Ronnie’s arrival, she became miserable and started snubbing everyone. Luckily she meets Will Blankelee (Liam Hemsworth) the famous handsome volleyball player, Will help her to find her real-self and also to reconnect with her father.
